International Vendor Manager Job Description

Beneplace is the market leader in employee savings and voluntary benefits administration for large employers both in the U.S. and overseas. We are seeking an International Vendor Manager for our Vendor team. This team is charged with contributing to the company’s growth by participating in a variety of sales, marketing, business development, and vendor management activities. The International Vendor Manager is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and selling new relationships as well as managing and maximizing the financial impact of existing ones.

 

The ideal candidate will be adept at articulating and negotiating the necessary qualities of a vendor’s offer. They’ll discuss the value proposition of advertising via the Beneplace platform, including page views and click-throughs. Additionally, the Vendor Manager will be able to succinctly discuss numerous business and economic models. They will work directly with the Creative, Web, Client, and Finance teams.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Aggressively identify, prioritize, and develop new relationships and revenue opportunities with prospective vendors
  • Maximize revenue opportunities
  • Perform strategic analysis of new business opportunities, existing vendor programs, and competitor programs
  • Collaborate with Creative and Web teams regarding vendor page design and marketing placement delivery
  • Serve as primary liaison to the Client team to answer questions about current or future vendor offers
  • Special projects as required

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Results-oriented with a strong track record of exceeding goals
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation)
  • Experience selling email and internet marketing strategies
  • Outstanding quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal teams
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
